Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter Mechanic HVAC to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems in commercial HVAC applications. This role requires expertise in various techniques and systems related to pipe fitting and refrigeration, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain piping systems for commercial HVAC applications.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required for pipe installation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with piping systems and HVAC equipment.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on existing piping systems.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure project efficiency and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all local codes and regulations, including gas fitting standards.
- Utilize sheet metal skills for installation and repair of ductwork related to HVAC systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong skills in pipe fitting, welding, and plumbing.
- Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC piping.
- Valid Connecticut (CT) license for gas fitting.
- Valid Driver's License and transportation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
