OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced attorney for an Of Counsel position with a minimum of 5 years of tort and insurance defense litigation experience. Based in our Hackensack office, this role offers immediate client contact and responsibility, with opportunities to work on complex litigation matters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Represent clients in tort and insurance defense litigation matters
Handle depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
Provide strategic counsel and assume responsibility for client matters from the outset
Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents
Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies
Manage multiple assignments independently while maintaining attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS
Juris Doctor (J.D.) with excellent academic credentials
Admission to the New Jersey Bar required
Minimum of 5 years of tort and insurance defense litigation experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Professional judgment, problem-solving ability, and sound decision-making skills
Proactive, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality work
