- Manage and follow up on outstanding medical bills and accounts receivable.
- Communicate with patients regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues and obtain payments.
- Review patient balances and provide clear explanations of benefits to assist with understanding charges.
- Maintain accurate records of collections and payments received.
- Conduct regular audits of accounts to identify discrepancies and follow up accordingly.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to work on-site
- Proven experience in medical billing and collections.
- Understanding of medical terminology and billing processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with medical software and databases.
