Mechanical Superintendent

Position Overview
The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications, particularly in commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Manage and coordinate HVAC, piping, and sheet metal installations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise and mentor mechanical staff and subcontractors to maintain high work quality and productivity.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all mechanical work.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols on the job site.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of project progress and issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and software.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
