This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications, particularly in commercial, industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Manage and coordinate HVAC, piping, and sheet metal installations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Supervise and mentor mechanical staff and subcontractors to maintain high work quality and productivity.
- Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all mechanical work.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols on the job site.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of project progress and issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Superintendent in commercial, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
