Position Overview
We're an Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturer based in Conway, SC! We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design & Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components while managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components using 3D modeling software.
- Manage projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, while ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Conduct testing and validation of mechanical designs to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for design processes, project metrics, and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design and project management.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
