We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Manufacturing Engineer with strong proficiency in SolidWorks to support the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes and equipment. This role will play a key part in improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and supporting new product introductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing tools, fixtures, and equipment using SolidWorks
- Collaborate with design and production teams to transition products from concept to full-scale manufacturing
- Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Create and maintain detailed documentation including work instructions, process flows, and BOMs
- Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing documentation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with automation and robotics integration
