Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of manufacturing systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency and quality.
- Implement Six Sigma methodologies to analyze and reduce production defects.
- Develop and utilize CAD software for designing manufacturing layouts and tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute production schedules effectively.
- Monitor and control quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing operations.
- Conduct statistical analysis to measure process performance and identify trends.
- Manage projects related to new product introductions and process improvements.
- Evaluate and implement automation solutions to increase production capacity and reduce costs.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Six Sigma principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling.
- Experience in process improvement and quality control methodologies.
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling techniques.
- Solid understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation technologies.
- Background in material science and mechanical engineering principles.
- Project management experience with a focus on engineering projects.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on statistical analysis for process improvement.
- Ability to identify and implement cost reduction strategies.

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
