We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures in a timely manner.
- Inspect, test, and maintain hydraulic systems, pumps, and pneumatic equipment.
- Replace worn or damaged parts, including bearings, motors, and gear boxes.
- Ensure the proper functioning of plant equipment, including conveyors, lighting, and vacuum systems.
- Maintain and repair mobile equipment and power supplies as needed.
- Assist in the setup and installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with maintenance practices related to sprockets, bearings, motors, and gear boxes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with pneumatic systems and mobile equipment maintenance.
- Relevant certifications in maintenance, millwright, or industrial technology are a plus.
