This role involves performing advanced maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and providing technical support to improve the efficiency and reliability of production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct installations and upgrades of machinery as needed.
- Utilize PLC systems for monitoring and optimizing equipment performance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Train junior technicians on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, specifically with injection molding machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
