Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment and systems. This role includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity in a food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of manufacturing equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with production staff to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to operations.
- Adhere to safety regulations and standards while performing maintenance tasks.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
- Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
