Maintenance Technician - Thermal Controls Manufacturing

 Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. You'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

 Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on production machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and document findings
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support equipment upgrades and installations
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Assist in inventory management of spare parts and tools
• Support facility upkeep including lighting, plumbing, and general repairs

 Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, PLCs, and schematics
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and OSHA safety standards
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed
