Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the maintenance team and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and procure necessary parts and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to support production goals and resolve equipment-related issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision, ideally in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English to facilitate communication with a diverse team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
