Position Overview
The Low Voltage Project Manager will oversee and coordinate low voltage installation projects from inception to completion. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations while managing technical teams and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee low voltage installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring alignment with client requirements.
- Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols during project execution.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to project specifications and changes.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and resolve any issues that arise during installation.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including contractors and vendors, to ensure project success.
- Proven experience in project management within low voltage systems such as security, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of networking principles and installation techniques.
- Experience with AV systems and communication systems preferred.
- Excellent budgeting skills and experience managing project finances.
- Strong client relations skills, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Technical proficiency in documentation and reporting tools.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
