Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in managing cases from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and paralegal functions, assisting attorneys with trial preparation, legal research, and case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law to support litigation strategies.
• Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials in compliance with court rules.
• Manage case calendars, ensuring deadlines are met for filings and court appearances.
• Coordinate and attend depositions and hearings, taking notes and summarizing proceedings as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and organized case management systems, tracking all relevant deadlines and documentation.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal Studies or related field.
• Certification as a paralegal from an accredited program is preferred.
• Proven experience as a litigation paralegal with a strong understanding of court procedures and rules.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
• Familiarity with toxic torts, calendaring, and tort litigation is a plus.
