Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support our legal team in managing cases from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and paralegal functions, assisting attorneys with trial preparation, legal research, and case management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, including organizing exhibits and preparing trial binders.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law to support litigation strategies.
- Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, and discovery materials in compliance with court rules.
- Manage case calendars, ensuring deadlines are met for filings and court appearances.
- Coordinate and attend depositions and hearings, taking notes and summarizing proceedings as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and organized case management systems, tracking all relevant deadlines and documentation.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates on case progress.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Paralegal Studies or related field.
- Certification as a paralegal from an accredited program is preferred.
- Proven experience as a litigation paralegal with a strong understanding of court procedures and rules.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Familiarity with toxic torts, calendaring, and tort litigation is a plus.

Salary : $75,000 - $90,000
