Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support our litigation attorneys in all phases of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, commercial disputes, construction litigation, real estate litigation, and other civil cases. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, notices, and other court documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda or summaries as needed
• Manage case files, maintain calendars, track deadlines, and coordinate scheduling
• Organize and summarize medical records, deposition transcripts, and other discovery materials (particularly relevant for personal injury cases)
• Prepare exhibits, witness lists, trial binders, and trial notebooks
• Coordinate with experts, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Handle e-filing in Florida courts and ensure compliance with procedural rules
• Assist with client intake, communication, and case updates
• Perform other paralegal duties to support the litigation team as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting
• Prior experience with civil litigation and/or personal injury cases strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Florida civil procedure rules, court filing requirements (including e-filing), and discovery processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple cases simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach and ability to work independently
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client confidentiality and ethical standards
