We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases, providing strategic legal counsel, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. This position requires a strong advocate who can effectively manage cases from inception through trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis in preparation for litigation cases
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Develop and implement litigation strategies for effective case management
- Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, and arbitration
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Prepare and organize case files for trial, including witness preparation and evidence presentation
- Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and developments
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals as needed
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in civil litigation and trial preparation
- Strong skills in legal writing and discovery processes
- Excellent negotiation and client representation abilities
- Familiarity with civil procedure and litigation strategy
- Demonstrated courtroom experience and comfort in litigation settings
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of contract law and legal compliance requirements
