Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local and state codes and safety standards during all HVAC activities.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair history.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC troubleshooting techniques.
- Valid CT HVAC license (D or S type) is required.
- OSHA 10 Card.
- Valid Driver's License, frequent travel ro nearby areas.
- Familiarity with code compliance and safety standards related to HVAC systems.
- Experience in commercial HVAC installations and repairs.
- Skills in soldering and brazing are essential.
- Nice to have: Experience in commercial refrigeration systems.
