The Lead Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires a deep understanding of networking, cloud services, and enterprise systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability of IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable IT infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
- Oversee the management of routing and switching technologies, ensuring optimal network performance.
- Manage and integrate Cisco and Meraki platforms for efficient network operations.
- Develop and maintain enterprise voice systems and unified communications solutions.
- Collaborate with teams to leverage cloud services including Azure and AWS for infrastructure solutions.
- Administer and support Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Implement and manage virtualization technologies such as VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Ensure security best practices are followed, including the implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA).
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior infrastructure staff and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect or similar role in IT infrastructure management.
- Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, routing, switching, and network design.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco and Meraki platforms.
- Knowledge of unified communications and enterprise voice systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
- Experience with virtualization technologies including VMWare and Hyper-V.
- Proficient in Windows Server administration and Active Directory management.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and best practices in infrastructure.
