We are seeking an experienced Lead HVAC Installer to oversee and execute the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems and the ability to lead a team to ensure high-quality installations while adhering to safety and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
- Install and retrofit HVAC systems, including chillers, CRAC units, RTUs, split systems, package units, air handlers, and boilers.
- Perform system start-ups and ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct wiring and brazing tasks as needed for installations.
- Provide training and guidance to junior installers and team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all installation activities.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC training program preferred.
- Valid HVAC technician license and relevant certifications.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and retrofit work.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and components.
- Proficient in electrical wiring, brazing, and system start-ups.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
- Competitive Salary: $35/hr - $55/hr
