We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter specialized in Finish and Framing to oversee and execute high-quality residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custom home building and will be responsible for leading a team of carpenters to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage framing and finish carpentry teams on various residential construction projects.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute construction plans accurately.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Train and mentor junior carpenters in techniques and best practices for finish and framing carpentry.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations.
- Manage materials and inventory to ensure timely availability for ongoing projects.
- 8 years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on residential construction and custom home building.
- Proven experience in both finish carpentry and framing.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
