Job Title: Land Acquisition and Development Manager

Job Location: Dallas, TX

Base Salary: $105K-135K

Requirements: 7 years of Land Acquisition and Development experience in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. A background in Civil Engineering is required and a PE License is highly encouraged.

About: We are a Central Texas based Residential Land Developer expanding into the Dallas-Fort Worth Market. There would be occasional travel required to our Headquarters in Georgetown, TX. This role offers a base salary as well as a competitive commission structure.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Land Acquisition and Development Manager to oversee the acquisition and development of land for residential projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying potential land sites, managing the acquisition process, and ensuring compliance with zoning and entitlement regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities for residential development.
• Negotiate land purchase agreements and manage the acquisition process from start to finish.
• Coordinate with civil engineering teams to develop site plans and ensure successful land development.
• Manage the entitlement process, including zoning changes and approvals for subdivision developments.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in land acquisition.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align land acquisitions with project development strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to land acquisition and development.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proven experience in land acquisition and development, particularly in residential and subdivision projects.
• Strong understanding of zoning laws, entitlements, and land use regulations.
