We are seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment law, focusing on labor relations, compliance, and dispute resolution. This position involves providing legal expertise, representing clients in litigation, and ensuring adherence to employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on labor and employment issues, including compliance with federal and state laws.
- Represent clients in employment disputes, including litigation and negotiation of settlements.
- Draft, review, and revise employment contracts, policies, and compliance documents.
- Conduct investigations related to employment complaints and disputes.
- Advise clients on PAGA (Private Attorneys General Act) claims and other employment-related litigation matters.
- Stay updated on changes in employment law and regulations to ensure client compliance.
- Develop and deliver training sessions on labor and employment law topics for clients and internal staff.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant state.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, including PAGA and compliance regulations.
- Proven litigation experience with a track record of successful outcomes in employment disputes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
