Job Title: Junior Estimator
Location: Malvern, PA
Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000
My client is a contractor based in Malvern, who has been in business for over 25 years. They are one of the top commercial construction companies in Pennsylvania and are looking for a junior estimator to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare budgets, conceptual estimates, and detail estimates for projects of varying size & complexity.
- Use labor, materials, equipment, and more to accurately produce estimates.
- Research before estimating data to better understand process and accuracy.
- Hand off estimates to team or subcontractors.
- Keep up to date on changes in trends and methods of construction and materials.
- Participate in progress meetings and client presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and at least one year of estimating experience, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite (especially excel) and estimating software's.
- Willingness to learn and develop a variety of skills.
