We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to our clients in the insurance sector, focusing on litigation and case management. Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in insurance defense litigation cases.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Manage all aspects of case preparation including discovery, trial preparation, and case management.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on case progress.
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to strategize case approaches and legal arguments.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation.
- Strong understanding of insurance law and civil procedure.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Proven ability in trial preparation and case management.
- Strong negotiation and client communication skills.
