The attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation in matters related to insurance coverage, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and defending clients in coverage disputes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on insurance coverage issues and disputes
- Represent clients in negotiations and litigation regarding insurance claims
- Analyze insurance policies and coverage provisions to determine applicability
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Research and interpret insurance law and regulations
- Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to resolve coverage issues
- Stay updated on changes in insurance law and industry trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in TX
- 3 Years proven experience in insurance coverage law and defense
