Injection Molding Process Technician

Position Overview

The Injection Molding Process Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role involves troubleshooting production issues, optimizing processes, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate injection molding machines according to production schedules and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and consistency.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand part specifications and production requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance on molding machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in plastics technology or related field preferred.
• 3 years in an Injection Molding Technician role or similar in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of injection molding processes and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards in a production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
