Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance on machinery and industrial equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely manner
- Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment functionality
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to address equipment concerns
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and systems
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during maintenance activities
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Experience with industrial equipment and machinery repair
- Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics systems
- Basic understanding of electrical systems
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical documents
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in maintenance
- Experience with HVAC systems preferred
- Competitive Pay $28-$32/hour
