Industrial Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician:   Day Shift/Overnight shift roles available

• Direct-Hire/Perm

• Location: Warner Robins/Macon, GA region

• WORK IS ONSITE, Work is in an Industrial/Manufacturing facility setting

A local Warner Robins area, growing industrial team has currently open roles available for industrial Maintenance Technicians to support facility operations by keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Roles are available on a number of shifts, including Days and Overnights.

This work will be done in a high-volume industrial setting, where consumer products are manufactured, with the role of the Maintenance Technician to include the following:

• Perform routine equipment checks, preventative maintenance, and documentation in maintenance software ; coordinate schedules with supervisors.
• Inspect and maintain tools, install/assemble new machinery, and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues; respond quickly to breakdowns and replace worn components.
• Monitor equipment performance for unusual sounds, smells, temperatures, or energy use and address issues promptly.
• Follow manuals, safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices, and sanitation standards; assist with parts inventory and general facility upkeep.

• Support additional maintenance tasks as needed.

   

Qualified individuals will bring as much of the following to the role, including previous hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial setting, along with:

• EDUCATION:  a High school diploma or equivalent. ( Preferred: Technical degree or trade certification)

• EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED/PREFERRED:

  • Packaging equipment, including Thermoformers, Packers, Sealers, Fillers, Baggers, Casers, etc.

  • Repair/Troubleshooting experience with ammonia refrigeration other utilities, water treatment, pumps, hot water heaters, boilers, softeners, RO, air compressors, etc.

   

• Strong, well rounded MECHANICAL and ELECTRICAL diagnostic skills, ability to work independently AND with and as a member of a team, and comfort in a fast paced production environment.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS include the Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically active work (kneeling, standing, reaching, etc.), as well as Climbing Ladders, working in confined spaces and at heights from time to time.
• Those who can bring SPECIFIC Experience in industrial or food processing environments will be given PRIORITY CONSIDERATION.
• Robotics troubleshooting or ammonia refrigeration system troubleshooting/repair experience is also a major plus
• Familiarity with CMMS platforms, and a comfort level working with maintenance software systems will make for a quicker transition.
• Bilingual English/Spanish language skills are a plus, but not a must-have.
