EHS/Safety & Quality Compliance Specialist 

• Location: Solon, OH area (Work is ONSITE, not a remote/hybrid role)

We are seeking a EHS/Safety & Quality Compliance Specialist, to support site safety programs, maintain ISO aligned quality systems, and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

This role partners closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

In this role some of the day-to-day work will include the following:

• Site Safety Management - Conduct daily plant walkthroughs, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Incident & Near Miss Investigations - Lead root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.
• ISO Internal Audits - Plan and execute internal audits for ISO 9001/14001/45001; support external audits.
• QMS Documentation - Maintain procedures, work instructions, and audit records.
• Training Coordination - Deliver or schedule safety and quality training for employees and contractors.
• Contractor Safety Oversight - Manage onboarding, permits, and compliance checks.
• Continuous Improvement - Support CAPA, 5S, and process improvement initiatives.
• Regulatory Compliance - Assist with OSHA, EPA, and local regulatory reporting.

Ideally qualified candidates will bring with them the following to the role:

• Seeking someone with 5 or more years in SHEQ, EHS, or Quality within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience with ISO 9001 required; ISO 14001/45001 preferred
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards
• Ability to conduct audits, write reports, and manage documentation
• Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills
• Certifications such as ISO Internal Auditor, OSHA 30, or ASQ are a plus

This role will report primarily to the site Operations Leadership team with a dotted line to the regional EHS/HSE Manager.
