Automation Technician - Electrical, Maintenance, PLC/Automation, Troubleshooting

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team in a role where the ideal candidate will take on a role responsible for maintaining and optimizing automated systems, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production processes. This role involves troubleshooting, repair, and support of a variety of automation technologies and electrical systems and will work closely with production, Automation, Maintenance/Reliability and Safety team members daily.

• Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate production lines, palletizers, and robotic systems
• Perform start-up checks, preventive maintenance, and equipment repairs
• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC issues
• Document product codes, labels, and material changes accurately
• Monitor workflow, optimize machine performance, and reduce waste
• Ensure product quality and labeling meet specifications
• Maintain records and recommend process improvements
• Support additional tasks as needed
  

Qualifications

• Technical coursework or some college preferred
• 1 year in production or distribution environment
• Direct knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and PLCs is required.
• Familiarity with ASRS systems and automated equipment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and clear communication
