Fraud Detection Specialist

Position Overview

The Fraud Detection Specialist is responsible for identifying and investigating fraudulent activities within the organization. This role involves analyzing data, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to protect the organization from financial losses due to fraud.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor transactions for unusual activity and potential fraud.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in processes and systems.
• Utilize investigative techniques to gather evidence and support fraud investigations.
• Analyze data to detect patterns and trends indicative of fraudulent behavior.
• Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommend actions to mitigate fraud risks.
• Manage databases related to fraud detection and investigation activities.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards and organizational policies regarding fraud prevention.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fraud detection or risk assessment roles.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with data analysis and financial analysis tools.
• Excellent investigative skills and attention to detail.
