Fire Sprinkler Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring that they comply with all relevant standards and codes. This role is critical in safeguarding lives and property from fire hazards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Install new fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on existing fire sprinkler systems.
• Design fire sprinkler systems based on hydraulic calculations and applicable codes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire sprinkler and alarm systems.
• Provide excellent customer service and support during installation and maintenance processes.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation of all work performed and systems installed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fire protection preferred.
• Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, piping systems, and associated equipment.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and local building codes.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
