Fire Sprinkler Technician
Position Overview
The Fire Sprinkler Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimal functionality. This role requires someone with an active C-16 License and is for a detail-oriented professional who can travel throughout Southern California 1-3 times/per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to specifications and codes.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems as needed.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during service calls and inspections.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records for all projects.
- Assist in project management tasks related to fire sprinkler installations and maintenance.
Qualifications
- C-16 Fire Sprinkler License required.
- Ability to travel throughout major Southern California markets
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler installation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- NICET Certification in Fire Protection is a plus.
- Experience in project management related to fire protection systems is desirable.
- Familiarity with wet and dry fire sprinkler systems.
