This Fire Sprinkler Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections and evaluations of fire sprinkler and alarm systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards. The role aims to enhance public safety by ensuring that all fire protection systems are functioning correctly and meet regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections of fire sprinkler and alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local code regulations.
- Document findings and prepare technical reports detailing the condition of the systems inspected.
- Identify any deficiencies in fire protection systems and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and fire safety codes relevant to fire protection systems.
- Collaborate with clients to develop risk management strategies and ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
- Provide troubleshooting support for fire alarm and sprinkler systems as needed.
- Valid RME-I certification for fire sprinkler systems.
- Proven experience in inspecting fire protection systems, with a strong understanding of NFPA standards.
- Strong knowledge of local fire codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in fire alarm and sprinkler systems effectively.
