Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems to identify any faults or deficiencies.
- Document inspection results, maintenance activities, and corrective actions taken for compliance records.
- Maintain knowledge of current fire safety regulations and codes to ensure adherence during inspections.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding inspection findings, recommendations, and necessary repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns related to fire alarm systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in fire alarm inspection preferred.
- Proven experience in inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire safety regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems related to fire alarms.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and provide clear documentation of inspections.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.
