Position Overview

A leading general contractor is looking to bring on a Field Superintendent who is responsible for overseeing construction operations on-site, ensuring project completion within budget and on schedule while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare and multifamily projects and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and vendors
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and quality
• Manage project timelines and budgets using tools such as Procore, MS Project, and P6
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of proven experience as a Field Superintendent or similar role in construction
• Experience in hospitals, healthcare facilities, apartments, dormitories, hotels, and commercial construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and procedures
• Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, P6) is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
