Field Service Technician - Machine Assembly

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various machinery and equipment at customer sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This position requires travel (up to 50%) to support customer installations and services as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure machinery and equipment at customer locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to enhance product performance and reliability.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Proven experience in machine assembly and installation.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and programming is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and travel to client sites as needed.
