Requirement Summary

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Fanuc controls and a solid background in CNC hardware and software, specifically with 5-axis CNC machinery. While experience in the aerospace industry is preferred, candidates with automotive backgrounds and strong technical skills will also be considered.

Position Overview

We are partnering with a company that specializes in automating highly complex industrial processes. They are seeking a Field Service Technician with a strong service focus to troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery, working directly with customer-specific equipment in dynamic manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation and commissioning of CNC machines and PLC systems at customer sites.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, including Siemens and Fanuc controls.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation of equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime for clients.
• Prepare and maintain detailed service reports and documentation of work performed.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure customer needs are met effectively.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls and automation engineering.
• Fanuc controls experience is required; Siemens experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC machinery is required.
• Proficient in CNC and PLC systems, including Siemens Sinumerik Operate and TIA Portal V15.
• Skilled in troubleshooting alarms and tracing root causes in both CNC and PLC environments.
• Capable of replacing plug-and-play modules and performing mechanical disassembly, adjustment, and component replacement.
