What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct maintenance and repair on rotating equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, filters, and chemical injection systems
- Perform mechanical, electrical, and controls diagnostics and repairs on equipment including valves, air compressors, blowers, pumps, and instrumentation
- Work with water and wastewater treatment systems like SBRs, Extended Aeration, MBBR, tertiary and denitrification filters, multi-media filters, blowers, and control panels-requiring strong mechanical skills, a willingness to learn, and solid problem-solving abilities
- 2 years of Field Service experience or similar industrial environment
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Controls, or a similar field preferred
- Hands-on experience with electric motors - installation, service, and repair
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, and motor control
- Familiar with Electric motors pumps, controls, piping, and valves
- Frequent travel throughout the East Coast
- $35.00 - $50.00/hr Per Diem OT
