Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various heating systems and equipment, ensuring high-quality service to our clients while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission heating systems including boilers, thermal fluid heaters, and ancillary equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heat transfer systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hydronic boilers, steam boilers, and related equipment.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on proper equipment use and maintenance practices.
- Document service calls, including repairs and replacements, in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of issues.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role in the heating industry.
- Strong knowledge of boilers, thermal fluid heaters, and heat transfer systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing hydronic and steam boilers.
- Excellent technical skills and proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on-site.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
