Estimator - Civil Construction

Position Overview
$75M in revenue heavy civil shop looking for an estimator with 3 years experience.  Excellent pay, 401k, healthcare, profit sharing, etc at a company with a well known brand in the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy highway and civil construction projects.
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and utilize Agtek for effective cost analysis.
• Analyze bids and prepare bid analysis reports for management review.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure cost estimates align with project scopes and timelines.
• Review and assess subcontractor bids and procurement options for cost efficiency.
• Provide support during project turnover and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for heavy highway, civil construction, or bridge construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Agtek, Bluebeam, or similar a plus
• Strong understanding of earthwork, paving, concrete, subcontracting, and procurement processes.
• Heavy highway, bridge, utility experience a plus
