Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. Equivalent experiencein a construction-related position will also be considered.
• At least 10yrs of heavy civil construction experience in the New York metro area.
• Experience estimating and developing bids for large heavy civil projects including but not limitedto bridges, transit, railways, and other types of heavy civil infrastructure.
• New York City Metro area and/or Northeast urban environment experience.
• Experience with alternative delivery contracts including but not limited to CMAR, Design-Build,CMGC, Progressive Design-Build, P3, etc.
• Experience collaborating with owners, subcontractors, and other project team members toprovide engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility
• Previous field operations experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Safety oriented, 10-hour and 30-hour OSHA certificates are preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Ability to function as a team-builder/player.

• Work with the project and estimating team to lead the development of costs estimates andproposals for large complex heavy civil projects.
• Reviewing, analyzing and interpreting Contract Documents (specifications, drawings, andreference information) to develop detailed, comprehensive cost estimates for heavy civilconstruction projects
• Review accuracy of quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
• Preparing value engineering solutions; including cost, schedule, and Owner benefits.
• Preparing responses to Request for Qualifications (RFQ's) and Request for Proposals (RFP's).
• Work with the accounting and equipment departments to determine labor and equipment costs.
• Develop scopes of work and project schedules.
• Work with the marketing team to prepare proposals and technical documents.

Salary : $200,000 - $280,000
