The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing innovative and energy-efficient HVAC solutions while ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct load calculations and energy modeling to optimize system performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
- Prepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Oversee ductwork design and layout to ensure proper airflow and system functionality.
- Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient solutions for HVAC systems.
- Manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure installation meets design specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in HVAC system design within MEP projects.
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for design and modeling purposes.
- Familiarity with load calculations and energy modeling techniques.
- Experience in ductwork design and system design principles.
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of energy efficiency practices and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus.
