Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in York, Nebraska The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, along with the facility itself. We're a food production manufacturer that is focused on delivering consistent and quality products while supporting our nation's agricultural industry. This role is critical for supporting our manufacturing processes and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair DCS System, motors, heaters, coolers, compressors, etc.
- Install and maintain electrical systems and equipment in compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Utilize arc welding and MIG welding techniques for equipment repairs and modifications.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, Maintenance Technician, or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Experience with arc welding and MIG welding techniques preferred.
- Familiarity with DeviceNet and industrial automation systems preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
