Position Overview
The Maintenance / Electrical Tech is responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems within our facilities. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance of equipment and systems to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair HMI, PLC, and other control systems
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Work on pneumatic and hydraulic systems to ensure operational efficiency
- Assist in the maintenance of chillers, BMS, BAS, and HVAC systems
- Execute repairs and maintenance tasks on steel equipment
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to improve system reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or controls preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance and electrical systems
- Strong understanding of HMI, PLC, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Experience in maintaining HVAC systems
- Knowledge of BMS and BAS systems is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
