Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical cost estimates for industrial and commercial projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to understand electrical requirements.
- Utilize Accubid software for efficient estimating and take-offs.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate bids.
- Review and evaluate vendor bids and proposals to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on materials pricing and industry trends.
- Assist in procurement processes and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Proven 2-5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator in the industrial and commercial sectors.
- Strong proficiency in Accubid and other estimating software.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and NEC codes.
- Experience with take-offs and competitive bidding processes.
- Ability to analyze complex project documents and develop accurate cost estimates.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Base salary: 80k-120k DOE
