EHS Manager - Build Safety Into the Future Location: Remote (with regular travel to customer job sites) Type: Full-Time

We're on a mission to reinvent how materials move and are stored across industries. As our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, you'll be the driving force behind a culture of safety, sustainability, and operational excellence - from R&D labs to manufacturing floors to customer construction sites.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and lead company-wide EHS programs that keep people safe and operations compliant
- Conduct safety assessments, lead inspections, and resolve risks across labs, assembly areas, and field deployments
- Train employees, contractors, and field techs on safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and best practices
- Develop sustainability initiatives that reduce waste, improve energy efficiency, and support our eco-conscious mission
- Own compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and local regulations - and keep documentation sharp and audit-ready
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions with a proactive, no-blame mindset
- Create site-specific safety plans for customer installations and ensure field teams follow lockout/tagout, fall protection, hot work, and other critical protocols
- Represent the company on job sites, coordinate with GCs and subcontractors, and lead toolbox talks like a pro
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, construction, or field deployment environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910, EPA regulations, and local safety codes
- Experience with robotics, equipment installation, or construction site safety is a big plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills - especially with customers and contractors
- Willingness to travel regularly and work in dynamic field conditions
Bonus Points for Certifications
- OSHA 30-Hour (Construction or General Industry)
- CSP, CHST, ASP, or similar
- First Aid/CPR and HAZWOPER

Compensation Range: $165,000 - $175,000/year (Bay Area benchmark; may vary by location and experience)
