Position Overview
The EHS Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility. This role involves developing and implementing EHS policies, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental awareness among employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular environmental and safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Lead and manage risk assessment initiatives to evaluate and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Coordinate crisis management plans and training to prepare for emergency situations.
- Provide training and support to employees on EHS practices and regulations.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics and compliance status to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into manufacturing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS roles within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 standards and EHS regulations.
- Proven experience in environmental analysis and safety analysis.
- Excellent crisis management and risk assessment skills.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent are a plus!

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
