The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical engineering processes, including design build and preconstruction phases, with a strong focus on HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical engineering team in the design and execution of construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and industry regulations throughout all phases of engineering and construction.
- Oversee the development and management of project budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure design specifications are met.
- Implement design build strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure that all engineering work meets the required standards and specifications.
- Manage and mentor engineering staff, fostering professional development and team collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems design and implementation.
- Experience with Revit and other design engineering software.
- Thorough understanding of compliance regulations and building codes.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing engineering teams.
