Key Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance policies and determine coverage obligations
- Provide legal advice on insurance coverage matters
- Represent clients in litigation and negotiation related to insurance claims
- Research and interpret case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to insurance coverage
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, related to coverage disputes
- Collaborate with clients and other legal professionals to develop effective strategies
- Stay updated on developments in insurance law and industry trends
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active state bar license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance law or coverage analysis
- Strong understanding of insurance coverage principles and litigation
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively
- Experience in defense litigation and third-party claims is a plus
- Familiarity with tort law is advantageous
